Antic Cafe Ryuusei Rocket Single album photo. Oh MIKU~SECOND POLY POST 1 APRIL 2009
Haha, I feel completely unmotivated to blog nowadays... so I'll follow Van's ( my sister) way of blogging!
-2nd day of poly was Games day.
-We were to assemble at 8.15am, and it was so bloody early.
-I wanted to curl up somewhere and fall asleep.
-Met Nalini, Sheryl and Adrinna at the YCK MRT station.
-was late, I know everyone waiting at the MRT wanted to kill me.
-Rushed to NYP, Nalini led us through this MAZE shortcut to get the where we were supposed to assemble.
-Was too much in a sleepy daze to remember the shortcut; will die on Monday.
-After hanging around and chatting to my group members we entered DMD lecture hall.
-Had our first 'assignment'- To draw a 10 panel storyboard about a stick figure called Mr Man.
-Uh. I first saw how amazing my classmates are. They are talented. So talented, I feel worthless.
-Spied on the guy who was sitting at the bottom.
-Was freaking out over how he drew every bloody detail out, while mine was drawing style WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA'AM chot shop super fast.
-Handed up our works, then we had lunch. Lunch was okay. Food was not very appealing, but fruit punch was good.
-Went back to the auditorium for group presentation discussion. On the last day, each group had to do a presentation to everyone.
-What horrors.
- Hui Mei was sitting next to me and was using her handphone. SUDDENLY I SAW SHE HAD A GUNDAM 00 BACKGROUND.
- Went 'Hey, I like Gundam 00, Tiera is my favourite!'
-And she laughed and said she liked Setsuna more. I was happy to find another anime fan.
-Can't remember what happened next. I think we had to choose a group name or something.
-Games time. First game was a wet game. The collecting water game with yuor shirts and clothes. Errr. I didn't play, all the guys did. They were very sporting. Ian, a guy in my group just THREW OFF his top like it was nothing. Then the guy in the opposing group also threw off his top.
-Woah. Welcome to poly, sister Valerie.
- We didn't win that game, but the girls were all happy because we didn't get wet.
-Girls in Group 3 (my group) panicked because we didn't bring extra clothes. Thank goodness we didn't have to participate.
-Second game was the pipe one where we had to fill up the pipe with water despite the holes.
-Suddenly volunteered to play. Was I insane or something?
-Got wet. Only one side of my shirt got kind of wet, like I was dipped into water horizontally. A guy in my group, who used his MOUTH to transport water and spit into the pipe.
-Nalini used Angie's shoes to transport water to the pipe, and everyone groaned when the guy, Alfred STILL used his mouth to transport water. Wow. That is mad, man.
- 3rd game was the look-for-a-sweet-in-flour game. Didn't participate. A guy in my class choked on the sweet and was coughing really badly. I think he recovered.
- I didn't participate in the last game, which was to line up our belongings to make a line longer than our opponents. Volunteered my stuff though.
-Singaporeans keep a mountain of shit in their bag. Our line covered one length of the track in the stadium. We even untied and used our shoe laces to make the line longer!
-After that, we played broken telephone. Haha, that was a blast :) The sentence was garbled like shit in the end. But it was fun.
-Games was over. Not as horrible as I thought. Debrief at stadium, we had to assemble at 8 AM THE NEXT DAY. Wow. Earlier and earlier.
-Wanted to weep somewhere because I knew I had to get up at 6 plus.
-Before we left for home, discussed about our group presentation tomorrow.
-We each had to draw a cartoon caricature of ourselves with a cartoon character's body. Wah lao. I knew I was dead. I don't know how to draw realism properly.
-Said goodbye to everyone and went back home.
-Day 2 was over. One more day to go. We received our Orientation goody bags. Had to wear our Orientation shirts on the 3rd day. D:
-END
I think day 2's account was less interesting than Day 1, but on the whole found it more insightful. Day 3 was okay, i guess. Blog about it another time.
