Miniature food that was displayed at AFA '08. 3 plates can fit into my palm; they were really adorable. And they're all edible! I'd probably need at least 20 plates to sate my appetite, though.
Work at CATALOG ended for me today, and I felt it was a truly learning experience. Mainly I learnt never to apply for a receptionist's job because it is agony, always look up to check if you're going to bash your head against the ceiling of the office archives, and best of all: make sure the you work in a place that has lovely cafeterias nearby. The food sold in the nearest coffeeshop from the office tasted... exotic.
I was shelving magazines in the archives-which was housed in this tiny room that I had to climb in and out like I'm climbing into a cupboard and venturing into Narnia- when I got too excited at carrying in magazines that I straightened too quickly. My head banged against the concrete part with a loud 'THUNK' and I screamed bloody murder while knocking into a pile of CATALOG. I think my screams scared the office which the archives was, becuase people dropped their pens and someone muttered 'OUCH'.
Okay that was a stupid part of work.
But truthfully, I really enjoyed my time there. It was enlightening and interesting. I learnt a little about the working world and how cubicle rats are slaves to the establishment and their clients. And exercised a little by carrying big stacks of magazines up and down the stairs.
Results day is on the 12th of August, I think I'd puke on that day. Scarily enough, I've been having extremely detailed and graphical dreams about me getting 19 points for my L1R5. It's been haunting me for days. It's a different scenario each time, but it always ends in 19points.
