My current love, Rune Factory (DS console). This picture features the two protagonists, Raguna and Mist. She's the one that I will make Raguna to marry!
Work attachment at Ren Ci (Part Two) Such a long post... xD

Friday was the last day of work at Ren Ci. It was quite sad to leave, even when I couldn't wait for the day to end. The reason was because I got kind of attached to the place... I guess? In the morning, went to meet Clarrisa and Roxanne at Novena... and we all came on time! Haha.. it's the first time none of us were late. Set off to Ren Ci, took Clarissa's much protected secret sky-bridge. Ha, she's still so protective of it! xD

At Ren Ci, we found out Simon the supervisor did not come as he was on MC. Sat down at the lounge area and chatted for awhile, then got up to help Mdm Tan wheel the residents to the function room. They started with a movie that looked suspiciously like Jumong. Later on, they changed it to mr.Bean, and one resident-can't remember her name- found it so funny she kept laughed loudly.
Time skip, as I forgot everything.
Had lunch at KFC, thank you Roxanne, Clarissa, Yan Ling and Sheena for eating with me. I think you all wanted Han's but I was on a budget. Thank you.
When we came back, Mdm Tan wanted us to make CNY decorations with the residents and I got paired up with this auntie who refused to look at me. She kept switching to Malay when I spoke Mandarin, to English when I tried to speak in Malay, back to Malay when I spoke to her in English. In the end, Shi Ming (our leader) wen to help her and I worked with the panda auntie. She is 97, but yet so spry... she kept smiling at me and liked stapling the paper. And she could cut very straight lines, for someone her age. When we finished the paper chain and hung it up, she looked quite happy.
Clarissa wanted us to help her water the plants around the Ren Ci building, so me, Roxanne and Sheena picked up watering cans. I think I fell in love with the pink watering can in the shape of an elephant. It was very entertaining to see water spout out of the trunk of the elephant! Clarissa kept wanting us to drown the plants.
When we were done, we went to see Sammy. This guy is 38, and lives in the Ren Ci home. He's very intelligent- he can remember lots of things and lyrics, despite his illness. Roxanne was fast friends with him, and he was very friendly- he wanted to know all our names and remembered them in less than 5 minutes.
Although he was reading when we found him, he put away the book when he saw us. When we told him it was our last day working here, he was very nice about it- he thanked us for coming here (wrote it on his notepad) and told us to come here another time. He even told us to enjoy our holidays. Sammy was very endearing- he was gracious to us, even when we were leaving. It was quite great meeting him.
I wanted to see goodbye to Mr. Lucid aka Mr TBT. But I could not find him at the wards, and it was quite a pity. I think Mr. Lucid should not be in a home- he's still quite able and strong, and he speaks fluent Mandarin. I don't know why he lives there, and I was afraid to ask him.
We went to say goodbye to the aunties at C2. They were all very nice, and told us to come back another time. The auntie who always called us 'hai zi' or 'child' was very nice as well. When I wheeled her back after the movie, she apologized for being so fat. And she told us to wash our hands when we do things.
I miss the handsoap, the one that smelled so nice and looked so delicious I could drink it up!
All in all, it was an enjoyable yet learning experience. Now all that's left is the written essay and dasy reflection. I understand why we must do it- to show we're actually learning something, but a more than 500 words essay? The teachers ask for so much, that is all I have to say.
Why don't they try writing it, damn it.

rewind.
